Available for ALL Superintendents and Building Administrators.
Preference is given to those who are in the first/second year of new assignments
Coaching is for those who have demonstrated knowledge in their position
and/or are current participants in an appropriate leadership academy
Limited to 30 clients each year Successful completion requires participation in three 2-hour sessions
Special arrangements can be made, at cost, for onsite services

The Coaching:
Completely confidential
Coaching across one school year
Content based upon client's needs and wishes
Focus is on interpersonal areas (e.g., board members, community, staff, school/district employees)
Personal dimension emphasized
Assignments are applied within the client's leadership position Coach provides a non-judgmental approach with the client's professional needs foremost
- Prior to Session One: coach provides application and demographic forms to be completed and returned before first session
- First Session: client/coach rapport building - assessment of client's confidence level and targeted areas for improvement
- Assessment material: client specific designed by coach (non-commercial) - includes Personal Assessment Inventory; Self-Confidence/Self Rating; others as needed
- Materials: client specific designed by coach includes: Critical Incidence Log; Perception Matters; Strategic Planning Guide
- Strategies: cognitive organization; role playing; behavior rehearsal; conference skills development; relaxation methods; small and large group skills development (Note: only those needed/wanted by client)
- Recommended/Suggested: assignments and applications provided to client following each session
Written/oral reports available; only to clients not to third party payees, assuring complete confidentiality Third party payees (BASA or school districts) are provided only dates of services All coaching sessions and records meet Ohio Board of Psychology standards. - Additional sessions available per request - $330/two-hour session
- Confidential written report available to clients - $330
- Follow-up via email and/or telephone - no charge
- Non-members rate - $1500/6 hours
- School district payments require purchase order number
- Personal payments - total fee required by the first session
- All payments made to School Study Council of Ohio
- No refunds after completion of first session
